SINOPEC began offering discounts at more of its local pump stations yesterday in its ongoing fuel price war with PetroChina.
Sinopec, which has about 570 stations in Shanghai, now offers reductions at 90 stations, from 44 previously. It also further lowered the price for 90-octane gasoline by 0.05 yuan to 4.35 yuan a liter at selected pumps.
