A TOTAL of 63 of the latest batch of 89 reconstruction projects in earthquake-hit Dujiangyan City have been carried out with an investment of more than 4.9 billion yuan (US$718 million) as of October 31, 2009, according to an audit report by Shanghai Statistics Bureau.
Shanghai is the reconstruction partner of Dujiangyan in Sichuan Province where an 8-magnititude earthquake hit on May 12, 2008. The construction of 28 projects had already been completed.
