Rescuers find body of missing Shanghai hiker
THE senior Shanghai tourist who went missing while climbing a mountain in Lin'an, Zhejiang Province, was found dead this morning, rescuers said.
Zhang Quancai, 61, has been missing since Saturday afternoon after he went to climb the Tianmu Mountain with a Shanghai couple who were in the same self-organized hiking group.
His body was found on a cliff of the mountain about 5 kilometers away from the Taihuyuan Town in Lin'an City, rescuers said.
After the couple reported his missing, Lin'an government sent out more than 100 police officers, SWAT members and rescue dogs to search the mountain, but didn't find any trace in past few days.
Zhang, a Shanghai lawyer, was single and had no children. His two brothers and other relatives went to Lin'an yesterday to wait for search result, officials said.
