A MENTALLY retarded man was charged with robbery yesterday by the Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate Prosecutors' Office for robbing his grandaunt, whom he allegedly killed.
Authorities said the man, 30, suffocated his grandaunt on December 4, 2008, when she refused his request to borrow 100 yuan (US$14.64). He was judged capable of limited liability.
