Russia puts on a show
RUSSIAN artists will perform today and tomorrow at the Europe Square ahead of the nation's pavilion day on Wednesday.
There will be three shows a day featuring music and drama. Traditional Yakut violinists, a band from a military academy in Moscow and child performers will be among those taking part.
The pavilion, themed "City and Citizen," features 12 irregularly shaped towers in white, red and gold, and takes visitors on a journey to the palace of Nikolay Nosov's fairytale "Adventures of Dunno and His Friends." More than 5 million people have visited the pavilion.
