SMG fund releases new charity programs of art and culture

Shanghai Media Group's Art Cultural Development Foundation, which has been established for one year, released a series of new charity programs of art and culture today.
The foundation will digitally record classic performing excerpts by celebrated traditional theater artists. More than 40 age-old traditional Chinese operas such as Peking Opera, Kunqu Opera and Yueju Opera will be well preserved and promoted through TV shows and public art festivals.
The foundation will also host a sequel to its acclaimed aesthetics series class "Art Class." The series show will display and interpret the distinctive charm of traditional Chinese costumes, calligraphy and arts.
Next year the foundation will also support the city's public orchestra concerts, charity cultural star selection and art expo of young talented artists.
