SUV crushes 5-year-old boy to death in Jinshan

A 5-year-old boy was fatally run over by a SUV in Zhujing Town, Jinshan District late yesterday, today's Xinmin Evening News reported.
The tragedy happened around 6:15pm when the boy was crossing a road to find his mother and a white SUV rolled over him, witnesses said.
His parents rushed to the scene and the female driver surnamed Li called police immediately, the report said.
Police arrived soon and cordoned off the scene. The boy died despite emergency treatment.
Police have detained the driver and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
