A UNIVERSITY graduate has been arrested for allegedly defrauding more than 30,000 yuan (US$4,395) from a former high school classmate by promising him a career as a performer in adult films, according to Zhabei District prosecutors.
Qi Dong couldn't find a job after graduating from Jiao Tong University last year and duped his classmate with promises of high payments for appearing in pornography. Fan paid more than 30,000 yuan for "travel costs and photo-print fees.
