Scooter plunge
A MAN was found dead yesterday morning after the scooter on which he was traveling plunged from a collapsed bridge in the Pudong New Area.
The victim, surnamed Wu, 27, was returning home from a relative's house about 11pm on Monday and ended up on the Bridge, which had been collapsed for more than a year, according to Eastday.com website. Wu's body and his electric scooter were recovered yesterday and the bridge was blocked off to prevent anyone else trying to use it. Locals said access to a new bridge was blocked by a vehicle at the time of the accident.
