Scooter rider crushed by truck

A FEMALE scooter rider died after being hit and run over by a truck in suburban Baoshan District yesterday morning. The woman, 38, was riding along Jiangyang Road S. when the right-turning truck bumped into and crushed the scooter about 9:30am. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
