Second body found in Luxi Gorges

THE body of another missing tourist was found in a river downstream of the Luxi Gorges in Zhejiang Province this morning after three people of an 18-member Shanghai hiking group were washed away last Saturday.

It's the second body found by rescuers since police confirmed finding Zhang Lin on Tuesday. Police are still determining the identity of the person found today, according to the Eastday.com report.

More than 400 police and rescue workers are still searching for the other Shanghai tourist washed away while crossing a flooded gorge in the Jingning She Autonomous County of Lishui City on Saturday.

Zhang was found by a team of rescuers using a bamboo raft about 20 kilometers from where the three went missing.

Zhang's families, including his wife and the two-month-old baby, went to a local funeral home to view the body on Tuesday. He was cremated yesterday.

A Zhejiang tour guide reported missing in the accident was found on Sunday morning.

The other 15 members of the group were sent back home to Shanghai and local authorities have stopped two other groups from exploring the gorge after the accident.
