PASSENGERS taking buses from Shanghai to Beijing now need to produce ID cards to buy tickets, a newspaper reported today.
And drivers wishing to park underground at Shanghai Long-Distance Bus Station must open the boot for security checks, according to Xinmin Evening News.
The measures are part of tighter security checks before the nation's 60th anniversary.
