Shanghai woman wins 'best job in China'

A SHANGHAI woman has won the "best job in China" – traveling across the country and rating hotels for an online travel site – earning 10,000 yuan (US$1,464) a month.

Zhuang Jing, along with two other winners from Beijing and Xi'an City, won the jobs after beating 7,000 applicants in a two-month competition, today's Shanghai Morning Post reported.

For their final round, Zhuang and 21 finalists lived in five hotels in Beijing and reported on their experiences. A professional panel and Internet users picked the top three.

Application for a second contest is going on through 13:00 on March 1.
