Shanghai-Taipei Forum kicks off

THE 2017 Shanghai-Taipei Forum kicked off this morning at the Oriental Riverside Hotel in Shanghai.

Four memoranda of cooperation were signed between Shanghai and Taipei to promote mutual exchanges and communications in district administration, protection of consumers' rights, basketball department and education.

Since initiated in 2010 as an annual event held by Shanghai and Taipei in turn, the forum has been an important platform for communication across the Taiwan Strait, with 30 memoranda of cooperation signed by now.
