Shanghai's Disneyland to be its smallest

SHANGHAI'S Disneyland will be the smallest of its sixth global theme parks at just 116 hectares – 10 hectares smaller than the one in Hong Kong.

The land in Chuansha Township in Pudong New Area will also include a parking lot, public utilities, and supporting areas, the National Development and Reform Commission announced yesterday.

Disneyland finally won approval for the project on November 5, reported today's Oriental Morning Post.

Villagers are busy building structures in an attempt to net more money when the land is taken over.
