TWO of the four sharks in a public fish tank on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Mall died because of a burst water pipe over the weekend. The two survivors were transferred to the city aquarium - Changfeng Ocean World - yesterday while the tank is repaired.
It was installed on the exterior of the Oriental Department Store about two years ago. A pipe had burst which altered the amount of saltwater in the tank.
