Sinopec drops petrol prices

SINOPEC last night lowered pump prices in Shanghai, bringing most rates on a par with rival PetroChina.
The price of 90-octane gasoline was reduced by 0.05 yuan to 4.73 yuan a liter at Sinopec's 560 stations in town at 7pm. Sinopec also reduced the price of 93-octane gas by up to 0.2 yuan a liter and cut zero-grade diesel by up to 0.3 yuan a liter in 81 stations to compete for customers.
