Stabbing death

A MAN surnamed Chen was stabbed to death during a group fight near a Haoledi karaoke bar at Thumb Plaza in the Pudong New Area early yesterday morning.
About 1am, several men were fighting at the plaza, witnesses said. Chen was severely injured after he was stabbed. He was rushed to hospital after police arrived but later pronounced dead. Police have taken all the people involved in the fight into custody. Police said the fight erupted over a trivial dispute. Their investigation is continuing.
