Students get mental health help
UNIVERSITY students suffering poor mental health can now receive help via an e-learning platform.
The platform, embedded in a WeChat account titled Shanghai Campus Psychology, was launched yesterday.
It was developed by the Shanghai Student Mental Health Development Center, affiliated to the city’s education commission.
It provides nearly 200 online psychological courses to help solve what bothers today’s university students including neurotic perfectionism, frustration with failure as well as anxiety triggered by study pressures.
It also has a message board where users can exchange point of views and seek advice from fellow students or psychology teachers.
