TWO postgraduates with East China University of Science and Technology were injured in an explosion during an oxidation-reaction experiment yesterday morning. The blast shattered the glass container and sent glass residues into their skin. The duo, surnamed Li and Liu, needed surgery. The two may have added chemicals too quickly.
