Suicide leap man falls on woman

A 30-YEAR-OLD woman lost three teeth when a man fell on her from an overpass near the Shanghai Railway Station after he jumped in a bid to commit suicide yesterday afternoon.
The woman is in stable condition but doctors said the man, surnamed Zhao, sustained a head injury that could lead to brain damage.
Zhao, 25, came to the city from Xi'an City, capital of Shaanxi Province, after he quarreled with relatives over trivial matters. But he became desperate and jumped off the three-story-high overpass on Molin Road near Minli Road in Zhabei District about 2pm.
Zhao landed on the woman, a migrant worker, who was crossing the road at the time. Her chin hit the ground, leaving blood on the road, a witness said.
They didn't know each other. Police are investigating the case.
