Sun-Yat-Sen University team wins national entrepreneurial competition

A team from Sun-Yat-Sen University won the final of a national entrepreneurial competition held in Shanghai on Tuesday.

The competition was held by Enactus, an international organization. It received 103 projects from 93 teams. Senior executives from over 60 companies, including Dell, A.O. Smith and Bayer chose the Enactus China National champion.

The Sun-Yat-Sen University team will now compete with teams from 35 countries in the final, which will be held in Canada in September.

The Sun-Yat-Sen team project was called “Neverland” which focussed on environmental issues.

None of Shanghai’s eight teams managed to break into top 10 this year.
