Sunny start for Expo
THE long anticipated World Expo should have a sunny start on Saturday, with expected clear skies and temperatures ranging between 14 and 25 degrees Celsius, according to the Shanghai weather bureau.
And the fireworks show to celebrate the opening will be held as scheduled on Friday with clear skies also expected, today's Oriental Morning Post reported.
Visitors are advised to take sun block, hats and sunglasses to shield from the hot sun.
This week will mostly be clear and warm, except for a little drizzle this morning and Wednesday, the bureau forecast.
Temperatures will range from 14 to 20 degrees.
