Sunny weather forecast for holiday

THE May Day holiday will be sunny and warm, according to forecasters.
Ideal weather for a break as many Shanghai residents will also enjoy two additional days-off on April 30 and May 4 because of the Expo to add to the May 1 to 3 holiday.
Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said the good weather will last until Monday with temperatures up to 26 degrees Celsius, but Tuesday will see showers.
Meanwhile, April was the coldest in China for 49 years, according to the China Metrological Administration.
Temperatures averaged 8.7 degrees Celsius nationwide, 1.3 degrees lower than normal.
