SPITTING, plus throwing cigarette ends and litter onto the streets, are still problems in Shanghai, according to a survey by the local health authority.
This is despite years of efforts to tackle these unsociable habits.
The survey listed the public areas that suffer most from spitting and litter louts.
Zhongshan Park shopping mall in downtown was judged among the worst public spots, along with a digital product mall at Shanghai Railway Station.
