Suspect in rape was to marry

A MAN suspected of rape has been caught as he attempted to take his girlfriend to his hometown to get married, said Shanghai Railway police yesterday.
The suspect, surnamed Yin, was seized on Sunday at a railway station in Kunshan City in neighboring Jiangsu Province, officers said.
Yin, 23, together with three others, is alleged to have raped two women in his hometown in Henan Province in May, police said.
While on the run, Yin met the woman he was planning to marry, according to officers.
