A MAN has been detained for five days for claiming a police officer was drinking on duty, Minhang District police said yesterday. A taxi driver surnamed Wu collided with another vehicle and traffic policeman Zhang Jianrong determined Wu had caused the accident. But Wu called 110 to say Zhang had been drinking. Breath tests showed that to be a lie.
