A UNIVERSITY teacher found in a coma at home yesterday morning might have inhaled toxic gas while performing an experiment, according to a Songjiang District police report released today.
Police received a call from a student at about 10am, saying that he couldn't reach his teacher, surnamed Dai, after Dai went home feeling ill after an experiment.
Police entered Dai's apartment and found he was lying on the floor unconscious. Dai was sent to a hospital and remained in critical condition today, officials said.
