'Teacher' jailed

A WOMAN drug addict who pretended to be a teacher making home visits stole more than 10,000 yuan (US$1,570) in cash and other items from nine households.
She was jailed for 18 months yesterday. Baoshan District prosecutors said the 29-year-old, surnamed Li, stole from families who thought she was their child's teacher between August and October in 2010.
