Thailand Pavilion to be revealed in mall
THE design of the Thailand Pavilion for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo will be unveiled to the public at a free five-day exhibition at the Super Grand Mall next month, the Royal Thai Consulate General in Shanghai said yesterday.
The exhibition will showcase Thai cuisine, culture and medical practice as well as the pavilion design at the Pudong New Area mall, said Dr Phaichit Viboontanasarn, director of commercial consul.
The pavilion will be built in traditional Thai style and will display the "sustainable lifestyle" in Thailand, said the director.
Visitors can also participate in lucky draw, with first prize a return ticket from Shanghai to Bangkok.
