A MAN tried to pose as a mannequin to avoid being caught when police investigated a robbery at a store in Shanghai on Monday.
But his shoes gave the game away and he was arrested, today's Oriental Morning Post reported.
Shao confessed he had stolen goods worth more than 200,000 yuan (US$29,000) from more than 70 stores in the Pudong New Area.
His accomplice, a man surnamed Wang, was caught a day later.
