Two thieves will go on trial for burglaries at suburban villas last year involving hundreds of thousands of yuan. The thieves targeted villas owned by wealthy farmers who kept cash and valuables at home, according to prosecutors with Qingpu District Procuratorate.
Qingpu police also caught three thieves who stole cell phone cards worth more than 100,000 yuan (US$16,026), said police.
