Three overcome by leaking gas

A pair of grandparents and their four-year-old grandchild were rushed to Xinhua Hospital yesterday afternoon after a gas leak in their apartment.
The three were sent to the hyperbaric oxygen chamber and were in stable condition last night. The leak occurred about 4:30pm in Lane 3158 Zhoujiazui Road in Yangpu District. Neighbors said the victims called the ambulance themselves. The two elders passed out before the ambulance came and it was the four-year-old who opened the door for the medical team.
