Tibetan doc makes the cut at Shanghai film festival

TIBETAN documentary "Ganglha Metok" will vie for the Golden Goblet award at the 2017 Shanghai International Film and TV Festival in June this year.
The documentary by Tibetan filmmaker Tashi Chophel was one of the films to make it from the over 900 entries from all over the world.
The film documents the stories of three Tibetan women who bravely pursue their dreams against all odds. It will also have its global premiere during the festival.
The 2017 Shanghai International Film and TV Festival will be held from June 12 to 26.
