Tires punctured on 26 parked cars
TWENTY-SIX cars in a residential community were vandalized yesterday morning as their tires were punctured on purpose, owners complained.
Residents living at the Shanghai Kangcheng community on Xinsong Road in Minhang District said their vehicles were in their correct parking spaces and they had no idea of the motive for the crime. They claimed loose administration by the property managers allowed the damage. Police were investigating. Also this month, nearly 50 security guards at the community blocked the driveways in a protest over what they called low pay and long working hours.
