THREE tourists who were detained in Turkey for "culture relics smuggling" were back to Shanghai yesterday, after being stuck in Turkey for about a week. They, however, will still face the trial on April 10. Robin Du, his wife and his mother-in-law bought a piece of stone from a vendor in Turkey, and Turkish Customs said the stone was a cultural relic. The three were then detained and their passports were confiscated.
