Two detained for cable theft

TWO men have been detained for allegedly stealing cable lines, local police said yesterday.
The suspects climbed onto the G60 highway on Wednesday morning and cut out a 30-meter cable buried in a green area. The cable, worth about 7,500 yuan (US$1,100), was later found hidden in a bridge opening under the highway.
