NO substandard rabies vaccines produced by Jiangsu Ealong Biotech Co and Hebei Bioforwell Co have been purchased for use in Shanghai, Shanghai Center for Disease Prevention and Control said yesterday. Seven batches of over 210,000 doses of rabies vaccines produced by the two companies were found to suffer quality problems by the State Food and Drug Administration in December. The case is still under investigation.
