Visa scam
A MAN from Southeast Asia was cheated by an online advertisement offering visa services, losing his passport and 500 yuan (US$73), the Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration Bureau said yesterday.
The bureau reminded foreigners who need to apply for visa extensions to go to the outlets of the bureau - three in Pudong and one in Changning District. For more information, dial 28951900 or check www.shanghai.gov.cn.
