A PROPERTY company was fined 5,000 yuan (US$732) for not applying for a work visa for a foreign worker, who was also fined 1,000 yuan, the Shanghai Entry-Exit Bureau said yesterday.
The worker, a welding technician from East Asia, held a visiting visa for a three-month stay. Though his stay was extended, the company, saving money, applied for another visiting visa for him.
