Voice of popular dubbing artist falls silent

Fans and relatives gather around the casket of popular dubbing artist Li Zi on Thursday. Li, who died at the age of 83 on Sunday, shot to fame after lending her voice to such popular characters like Jane Eyre, played by Susannah York, in the movie Jane Eyre (1970), Maria von Trapp, immortalized by by Julie Andrews in the musical The Sound of Music (1965), Yesenia performed by Jacqueline Andere in a movie by the same name (1971), and Esmeralda played by Gina Lollobrigida in Notre-Dame De Paris (1956).
