Volunteers end service tomorrow

SPANISH volunteers, the last batch of group volunteers from overseas, will finish their service at the Expo tomorrow.
A total of 87 Hong Kong volunteers, 75 Japanese volunteers and 14 overseas Chinese volunteers have all finished their service at the Expo site, apart from 100-plus overseas student volunteers who are studying in local universities, the Expo Bureau officials said.
Angel Pascual, one of the 22 Spanish volunteers, had his 36th birthday party in the Expo site yesterday, with fellow volunteers singing "Happy Birthday" to him in Spanish and Chinese.
"I'm so happy that so many friends celebrated my birthday," he said. "I usually spend the day with my family members."
