Walkway tragedy

A woman died after being hit by a runaway shopping trolley laden with 15 boxes of bottled drinks on a supermarket moving walkway in Shanghai's Jiading District, Friday night. The woman, in her sixties, who has not been named, was struck by the cart, weighing more than 150 kilograms, as it careered down the slope after two shoppers apparently lost control of it. She was thrown 6 meters by the impact, hitting a wall. The woman died of internal injuries.
