Woman, 66, beats husband to death

A 66-YEAR-OLD woman allegedly beat her 70-year-old husband to death over a family dispute in the Pudong New Area on Monday night, police said yesterday.
Neighbors said the woman was ill-tempered and that they heard the couple quarreling about 8pm on Monday after water leaked from their apartment downstairs. The victim, a retired teacher, died after his wife hit him with a rod several times. The woman later surrendered to police.
