A WOMAN was seriously burned when her home caught fire last night in Yangpu District. An old house at 518 Huaide Road caught fire about 8pm and the woman surnamed Zhang was trapped inside.
Neighbors said Zhang was on fire and cried for help. Zhang sustained second and third-degree burns to 90 percent of her body and was in serious condition last night, according to Changhai Hospital. The cause of the fire was still unclear.
