Woman caught for selling fruit on Metro train
A woman who was photographed selling fruit on a subway carriage by a passenger who uploaded the photo on weibo.com has been caught and given an administrative detention, Shanghai Metro police said today.
The suspect, surnamed Hu, was caught outside Line 11’s Nanxiang Station yesterday.
Hu reportedly brought a basket of pomegranates and a basket of figs on Line 11 on August 31. The pomegranates cost 10 yuan (US$1.6) for two and the figs 10 yuan for five.
