A MIDDLE-AGED woman was killed early this morning at home in a rented room in a lane in Hongkou District, police said.
The woman, surnamed Shu, was found dead about 10:15am by her brother and a neighbor surnamed Wang who lived above Shu's room at Tiantong'an Road. Shu, aged around 41 from Hubei Province, was allegedly a prostitute and took strange men home, neighbors said.
