Agency Crackdown
THE city will launch a campaign against illegal recruitment agencies across the city next month, as several cases of people cheated by agencies have been reported, the Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau said yesterday.
The bureau hoped migrant workers would register at government job placement centers, which are free.
"Their interests will be better protected in this way," officials said.
