Fudan University ranks 26th globally for 'graduate employability' :survey
SHANGHAI’S Fudan University has been ranked 26th best in the world for “graduate employability,” according to a survey released yesterday.
The listing was based on information collected from 200 seats of higher learning, with points gained mostly for their links to potential employers and how their former graduates have fared in the jobs market.
Three schools based in the United States — Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University — topped the overall chart, which was put together by United Kingdom-based Quacquarelli Symonds.
Beijing’s Tsinghua and Peking universities were deemed to be the best in Asia — Fudan ranked third in that subgroup — while five other Chinese universities — Shanghai Jiao Tong, Zhejiang, Nankai, Nanjing and Shandong — also made the overall list.
