GRE takers dismayed as scores anulled due to mistake
TENS of thousands of Chinese who took the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) on October 23 were shocked and exasperated by the decision of the Princeton, NJ-based Educational Testing Service (ETS) to nullify their scores because a previous edition of the test was "mistakenly administered."
Many have to change their well-planned application schedules due to the cancellation, the first time in China.
ETS provides the test takers three options: take a make-up test on November 20 or take a new test on June 11, 2011 or get a full refund.
ETS said it would try to advance the score reporting date of the make-up test before December 10.
